Community Friends

We love to support other local people doing what they love, so we try to get involved with people in our community that we feel we can benefit from teaming up with. One of our favorites is the local roller derby team, Crow City Roller Girls! Did you even know we had a roller derby team in Chatham?! We have loved the Crow City girls ever since they started their league just over a year ago, and we always wanted to stay involved and help each other out whenever we can. When they started neither Kendall or I had the time to commit to the team, but now Grotesque Burlesques own, Haleigh, has joined the team. Just another reason for us to love them more than we already do!

We have gone to events they have held and had our products out for display, and we were always shown a great time by the ladies.

We also supplied them with rockin' roller skate necklaces last year! The lovely lady who started the league here gave a necklace to every girl on her team. So sweet! Here is what the necklace looks like:
